Americorps to Provide Language Translators

Posted by: takechargefair on: July 8, 2009

Americorps volunteers will be present to provide translation for speakers of Spanish, French, and/or Arabic. We are excited and grateful for their services and hope this allows for individuals to attend who may not have otherwise, due to language barriers. Thank you, Americorps!

  • ReCycles – a rider owned bike shop that refurbishes donated and  traded-in bicycles
  • Greensboro Public Library
  • Faith Action International House – a dynamic center for cross-cultural learning and service
  • Center for New North Carolinians (UNCG) – building bridges among immigrant populations and existing communities throughout the state of North Carolina
  • NC Choices for Youth – Helping young people choose paths of peace and service rather than violence and force

We will be updating this list, so check back regularly or follow us on Twitter to stay up-to-date as we secure additional vendors.
