Excited by the prospect of the Alternatives Fair? Can’t make it to Greensboro, or think your own community would benefit from having an alternatives fair? If you have some clever, creative ideas of your own on how to make a life after high school, then you can plan your own alternatives fair! The AFSC Area Office of the Carolinas is releasing the manual we used to plan the fair this year and last, and hope that others (like you!) will spread the creativity far and wide. We think everyone benefits when more people are aware of their opportunities. So check out our manual, and take charge of your own fair!
The manual describes how we planned this fair. It has information on the partnerships we’ve formed, the steps we’ve taken, the timeline we used to plan everything, and other resources like sample press releases. You can adapt this material for your own organization.
